What counts as a request
Every call to the /search or /reverse endpoint is one request, whatever the number of results returned. With autocomplete, each keystroke that triggers a call is one request.
Live patching and key management calls count the same way but are a rounding error next to autocomplete traffic. There are no session tokens to manage and no separate SKU for details, so what you see in the usage chart is exactly what you pay for.

Is there a free plan?
Yes. Every month, your first 10,000 requests are free, with access to every feature. No credit card is required to start.
What counts as a request?
Every call to the API counts as one request, whatever the number of results returned. With autocomplete, every keystroke that triggers a call is one request: typing "Roma" and picking a suggestion is four requests. In practice your volume comes from the search and reverse endpoints; live patching and key management calls are rare and count the same way.
How does the volume pricing work?
Pricing is graduated by monthly volume. After the free 10,000, requests up to 50,000 cost $0.0030 each, requests from 50,001 to 100,000 cost $0.0024, and so on down the grid. A month with 120,000 requests costs 40,000 × $0.0030 + 50,000 × $0.0024 + 20,000 × $0.0019, that is $278.
When and how am I billed?
Usage is billed monthly, at the beginning of the following month, in US dollars. You receive the invoice by email and it is charged to the card saved in your dashboard. Invoices and receipts are available in your account at any time.
Do I need a credit card?
No credit card is needed for the free 10,000 requests. To go beyond, add a payment method in your dashboard: your apps are then unlocked and billed on actual usage only.
Can I cap my spending?
Yes. Each app has an optional monthly self-limit. Once reached, the API answers with an HTTP 429 status until the next month, so an unexpected traffic spike can never turn into an unexpected invoice.
Do you offer volume discounts or yearly commitments?
Above one million requests per month, or if you can commit to a yearly volume, contact us. Committed volumes come with significantly lower per-request prices, priority support and invoicing terms adapted to your company.
Are there rate limits?
A fair-usage rate limit applies per client IP address and every response carries RateLimit headers so you can adapt. It is far above what an autocomplete field generates; if your back-end needs more, contact us.
